Today was our baby's 4th birthday! Yesterday's party was cupcake-themed, and of course I went overboard with the sewing. In addition to her birthday dress and matching baby's dress, I whipped together little aprons for her party friends (to protect their party dresses while they decorated the cupcakes). I also sewed little birthday crowns, which they each decorated with adorable vintage-styled pictures of cupcakes, birds, butterflies, flowers - everything Victorian that you could imagine. Games and presents completed the fun day!
Today was spent at church, and together as a family. We has a small celebration of Jena's life thus far (she is, after all, only four), which included another set of four candles.
It's been a WONDERFUL weekend! Happy Birthday, Jena! WE LOVE YOU!!
