Brace Yourself

My baby has braces on his teeth. He's a 'tweener at twelve and has tactile armory on his teeth! They were just put on yesterday afternoon, so today was his first day. He was SORE! Oh, I remember those days, and I pity the poor boy. I'm glad school doesn't start for another two weeks, because the boy needs the time to get used to the metal.

It's a milestone, putting braces on your kid's teeth. A very, very expensive milestone - more of a mile-golden nugget, rather than a stone.

I'm proud of him.
