He may have been the "Golden Boy" for this birthday, but exactly who blew out those birthday candles?? :-D

Jimmer!

Kit was having his Golden Birthday this year. That means that he was turning the age of the date of his birthday: 15 on the 15th. {Did you get to celebrate your golden birthday? I did, only because I had an awesome hubby and was lucky enough to have a later-in-the-month birthday - the 27th}.

For his Golden Birthday, we decided to send him to the inaugural Jackson & Jimmer Basketball Camp in Utah. He had an exciting and event-filled weekend and Kit GOT JIMMERED!

Thank Heaven for Little Girls!

Today was our baby's 4th birthday!  Yesterday's party was cupcake-themed, and of course I went overboard with the sewing.  In addition to her birthday dress and matching baby's dress, I whipped together little aprons for her party friends (to protect their party dresses while they decorated the cupcakes).  I also sewed little birthday crowns, which they each decorated with adorable vintage-styled pictures of cupcakes, birds, butterflies, flowers - everything Victorian that you could imagine.  Here's a very short video of Jena blowing out her candles.  Almost. :-)

Games and presents completed the fun day!

Today was spent at church, and together as a family.  We has a small celebration of Jena's life thus far (she is, after all, only four), which included another set of four candles.

It's been a WONDERFUL weekend! Happy Birthday, Jena! WE LOVE YOU!!

Oh, Good Grief!

The last day of the last month of 2010.
I liked saying "twenty-ten".  I hope to hear the trend continue with "twenty-eleven".  I cringe just a bit whenever I hear someone utter "two-thousand and eleven".

So here's to a FANTABULOUS twenty-ten, and all best wishes for an incredilicious twenty-eleven!
